1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing HubHealthyLife (“the Site”), you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old (or have parental consent)

  • You understand these terms form a binding legal agreement

  • You comply with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction

2. User Obligations

2.1 Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Post false medical advice (e.g., “This herb cures cancer”)

  • Scrape content using bots/scripts

  • Impersonate health professionals

  • Bulk-download articles for commercial reuse

  • Disrupt server operations (DoS attacks)

2.2 Comment Policy

User-generated content must:

  • Cite sources for health claims (journal links preferred)

  • Disclose conflicts of interest (e.g., “I work for a supplement company”)

  • Avoid personal medical histories (“My PSA levels are…”)

Moderation: We reserve the right to remove comments violating FDA 21 CFR §101.93 on disease claims.

3. Intellectual Property

3.1 Copyright

All original content is protected under:

  • U.S. Copyright Act

  • EU Directive 2019/790

  • Berne Convention protections

License Grant: Users may share articles with attribution under CC BY-NC-ND 4.0.

3.2 Trademarks

“HubHealthyLife” and the leaf logo are registered marks. Prohibited uses include:

  • Domain squatting (hubhealthylife.net)

  • Merchandise without written consent

4. Medical Content Disclaimers

4.1 Research Standards

Articles labeled “evidence-based” must meet:

  • ≥2 peer-reviewed studies

  • No more than 5 years old

  • Conflicts disclosed (e.g., “Study funded by almond board”)

4.2 AI-Generated Content

Where AI tools assist research:

  • Fact-checking by human editors is required

  • The phrase “AI-assisted research” appears in bylines

5. Third-Party Services

5.1 Affiliate Links

Disclosures comply with FTC 16 CFR §255.5:

  • “★” indicates Amazon Associates links

  • “Sponsored” tags appear above header

5.2 Embedded Tools

Interactive elements (e.g., BMI calculators) include:

  • Source accreditation (“Data from NIH”)

  • Margin of error disclosures (“±3% accuracy”)

6. Termination

We may suspend accounts for:

  • Repeated misinformation (3+ violations)

  • Undisclosed affiliate marketing

  • Harassment of other users

7. Dispute Resolution

7.1 Governing Law

  • U.S. users: Delaware law applies

  • EU users: May file with local DPAs

7.2 Class Action Waiver

Claims must be brought individually, not as class actions.

8. Limitation of Liability

Our maximum liability is limited to:

  • $100 USD for individual claims

  • 6 months of subscription fees (if applicable)

Exclusions: Liability for death/personal injury caused by negligence remains unaffected.
